On Tuesday the 2nd of May 2023, Careline Clinic recognized a group of committed care workers from Christ Nursing Solutions who had just finished their practical training at the Private Psychiatric Hospital. The ceremony was organized and attended by senior management, Nursing and admin staff. The CEO, Mrs. Yvette Lucas, Professional Nurse, Mr. Lekhoathi, Ms. S Katz and two care workers each delivered messages of encouragement to the participants.

Mrs. Y. Lucas opened the ceremony by discussing the significance of care givers and how their labor of love and devotion to the frail is valued. Then she gave the podium to several caregivers who shared their insights and provided encouragement to the audience. They discussed the beneficial effects their treatment had on the people they served and how they also benefited from that experience in return. Ms. T. Kirimi, the CEO and the Professional Nurse, then presented certificates and medals to the care workers as a token of appreciation for their commitment and hard work. The celebration was concluded by the CEO who reminded the care workers that they are now officially mental health ambassador’s and that they should continue to change the narrative concerning mental health through dialogue. She stated that there is no health without mental health and that the partnership with Christ Nursing Solutions will continue for the benefit of our society.

We are proud to announce that some care workers hard work and dedication was recognized and they were subsequently offered employment by families and institutions during the time that they were at Careline Clinic. We are proud to have been instrumental in providing further opportunities to care workers via our networks.
